When they pack in their clients like a can sardines, there is no possible way that the instructors can focus on individuals. Instead they just yell out basic commands to the entire group, leaving you in the dark whether or not you’re using the proper technique, or even doing the right exercise at all!
Not at WheelPower Studio, we purposely keep our class sizes small in order to keep track of, guide, train, and get to know each and every one of our cyclist. If you have any questions, our trainers are there to answer them. If you need a little extra motivation, you’ll get it. Not only will you get the focus required for you to achieve the full potential of your workout, but keeping the classes small also builds a sense of teamwork. Our cycling theatre is built stadium-style so that everyone can see the instructor, and music is integral in our workouts. From the classics to club mixes, and even live DJs, our spinning classes truly are a party. But instead of over-indulgent calorie intake (we’ve all been guilty), our parties have you losing weight and building muscle.
With the newest and most innovative Stages indoor cycles featuring power meter technology to help motivate you and keep track of your progress, and highly motivated and certified trainers, we ensure that with some effort on your part, you will achieve your desired results.
We consider ourselves a boutique gym. What does this mean? It means that we like to keep our classes small, we specialize in our two types of classes, but mostly, it means we like to consider our clientele family. From the moment you walk in until you leave, you will not be ignored, but welcomed, accepted, and trained in a way that guarantees you will reach your goals.
While we encourage our clients to have fun, we’re not a place just to hang out but to work out. While entertaining, our classes our very challenging and will push you to your limit (but no further). In an hour or less, you’ll be amazed at the amount of calories you lose in such a short amount of time.
You will also build solid muscle tone. Cycling on its own builds the muscles in your thighs, calves, and even abs, but when you add in our approach of using weights, different positioning, and alternating tension, we are building muscles all throughout your body. Not enough? Sign up for our Powersculpt Add-On to use an extra 25 minutes of strength and body sculpting before or after your class. Or sign up for rhythmic sculpting and strength training, where we use TRX suspension systems, weights, and slide boards in order to achieve a leaner, stronger body.
