How is a POWERide or POWERsculpt class different from other workouts?

A WheelPower POWERide class combines the beat of music with the latest technology to allow for workouts which are fun, calorie torching and endurance building. We invite riders to lose themselves in the motivating music while building stamina. Some classes may have the option to compete in races where a rider can reach their personal best, while others may have team challenges where we all work together to take the ride to the next level. Our technology is both inside the cycle room and at your fingertips (via email); so riders will have all the tools they need to track their progress. Our indoor cycle classes are designed to build athleticism and strength with every pedal stroke.

POWERsculpt 45 is an invigorating yet challenging approach to rhythmic group circuit training. Set in an intimate setting, participants will work their way through three different strength stations, allowing the rhythm of music to motivate their movements. Rhythmic sculpt allows participants to let go, enjoy the music all while building POWER: total body toning, core strengthening and muscular endurance.

Where do I begin?

Create an account on-line, buy a class or package and reserve your first POWERide or POWERsculpt class.

What if I’ve never taken a POWERide or POWERsculpt class before?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that our staff can help you get situated on a bike & with shoes for our POWERide classes, or help you understand the equipment and format of our POWERsculpt classes. We can keep track of your bike settings and shoe size going forward.

What is your cancellation policy?

All classes must be canceled 12 hours in advance, or you will lose the class credit. Monthly members will be assessed a $15 no-show fee. Classes can be cancelled on-line or by calling the studio.

When does your schedule open for booking?

Our schedule books out two weeks in advance. The schedule opens every Sunday evening at 6pm.
How will I know if I get in to a class off of the wait-list?

If you are on the waitlist, you will automatically be placed into a class. You will receive an email notification to let you know that you have been scheduled in the class.

Can I take a class if I am pregnant?

Please consult your doctor before engaging in any exercise routine while pregnant. With your doctor’s approval, indoor cycling and strength training can be a safe and fun way to move your body while pregnant. Please let your instructor know that you are pregnant before any class that you take.

How do I know how hard I am working?

After a POWERide 45 class, you will get an email sent to you showing your personal data from that class. This information will include: Total Watts, Average Watts, Average RPM, Miles Accumulated and Calories burned. Having all this information at your finger tips post class will allow you to track your performance on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. You are also welcome to wear a heart rate monitor that can also sync with our technology for even more post-workout data.

Do you offer child-care?

We offer drop-in babysitting for some of our most popular class times. Please reserve your child’s spot in our WheelKids room in advance, as our room can only hold a limited number of kids. Please note that Parents must remain on premises while their child is in the WheelKids room. Also note that due to food allergies, the WheelKids’ room is a food-free zone. If you anticipate your child will be hungry, please give them a snack ahead of time.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring yourself & your water bottle. Our studio provides cycling shoes, fresh towels, a filtered water refill station, lockers and bathroom amenities at no additional charge.

Do I need my own shoes?

Cycling shoes are included at WheelPower, but you will need to bring your own socks. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own cycling shoes. Our bike pedals support spd or LOOK Delta cleats. Regular sneakers will not work with our pedals. For POWERsculpt and POWERhour classes, you will need to bring your own sneakers that you feel comfortable strength training in.
